So Much Energy...

I don't know where he gets it, but after a day like this, I'm pooped!

Yesterday was Jeremy's work party.

Eli had hot dogs,

played in the bouncy castle

Rode the train...

a bunch...

Tried cotton candy for the first time, and got his face painted

Attempted the bungee run

And Batmanned (yes that is a verb) everybody in sight.

I'm sure at work, everyone will be asking each other,
"Who was that masked kid anyway?"

Time for a nap!

mmmMMmmmm

Jeremy helped me make a quadruple batch of tortillas....

These keep quite nicely in the refrigerator... I wouldn't know how long though, cause they are so yummy they vanish quickly!

Carrots!

Wow! Can't believe these came from my garden! I have never been able to grow carrots before!

I will be making baby food!

Eli Art

Eli "borrowed" my camera, and when I got it back, (found it in the toy room) I found that he'd taken a bunch of pictures of his artwork, so without further ado....

(His titles, btw)

"Daddy and Iris"

"Batman, with a smile, mad eyebrows and a house"

Captain Hook

So STRONG!

This makes me nervous...

Eli has discovered that he is "strong" enough to pick up Iris by himself!

I'm fine with that, as long as I am right there to supervise, but of course, this is Eli, and supervision is for lesser children... *sigh*

Please don't drop your sister, E!

p.s. Look! Her hair is growing back!

Big Boy Haircut

At least once a year I get tired of dealing with Eli's hair, and chop it all off.

This time is the shortest it has ever been. And I mean EVER! It was longer than this at birth!

At church yesterday, he told everyone he saw, "I got a haircut, and my hair is short like my DAD'S!"

So handsome!

(I almost forgot he has ears!)

Produce!

Hmmm.... first day of August... so sad.
How I wish Idaho had a growing season longer than two weeks!

Tomatoes:

And a bell pepper!
