I Looked Out The Window and What Did I See?

Thanksgiving dinner looking right back at me!

These naughty boys also went in the garage and made
turkey plops all over the floor.

It's Jeremy's fault - he left the doors open to air out his latest log creation (to be featured at The P.C in a few weeks!)

Eli asked how we are going to clean up the turkey mess, and Daddy told him he would let them dry and then sweep them up.

A few minutes later, E was on his hands and knees
BLOWING on the turkey poop... know why?

To dry them up!

Glad I didn't get a picture of that!

A Ransom Demand

My Mom is in Missouri, visiting my sister and
meeting my new nephew, Mason.

Eli got this postcard in the mail on Thursday.

(Drawn by my oh-so talented Brother-in-law, Mike)

(Tutu is Grandma)

Eli was very concerned.

"Mom, are the pirates going to kill your Mom?"

"Why did they kidnap Tutu?"

"Will they drown her?"

"Why is she in a barrel?"

"Is that a bad dog?"

I told Mike and Cheri that sending a ransom demand thru USPS is a federal offense... so is kidnapping, come to think of it!

I assured Eli that this is a joke... but I'm not sure he's convinced.

Boy loves his Tutu!

Action Shots

I have had problems getting pictures of my super active little Iris

They all came out fuzzy like this!

Know how I fixed it?

No, I did not drug her, or duct tape her to the wall...

I put my camera on the "Sports" setting.

Not too different from a jump shot!

Gymnastics... and Other Stuff

Yesterday was Eli's first day of gymnastics.

He loved it.

But first...
The teaching assistant came out into the Mom waiting area, and asked me, "Are you Amber?"
(I was)

"What is your little boy's name? The one in the green shirt?"
(Eli)

"Oh. I asked him his name, and it sounded like 'Blue Suede'!"
(He meant Bruce Wayne. But he also answers to "Batman")

I was a little embarrassed, especially since all the other Moms got such a hoot out of it...

That's my (crazy) boy!
