Curious George Scares Some Kids

Curious George came to Preschool Story Time at our Library yesterday.

My kids have a deep distrust of people in costumes. Weird.

Sad baby face!

This is as close as Eli would get...

creepy little monkey... :D

Big Girl Car Seat

Because she HATES the baby carrier.

(Yes, we have it rear facing)

After I washed the cover and Jeremy re-assembled it, we put her in it to test it out.

One minute later...

Snow!

We had our first snowstorm on Monday.

Eli played outside, and had a snowball fight with the neighbors.

Then warmed up with hot chocolate and graham crackers.

A Moose!

Dear Mr. Moose,

Thank you for not murdering me when I woke you up the other morning. For real, thanks.

Sincerely,

Great White Amber

See the orange guy on the left? That's Roger. See the black speck on the right? That's Mr. Moose!

Camping / Hunting Part 1: Our Family

We had an amazing time, and the kids had soooo much fun. Even the baby. I was NOT expecting her to be so great!

Our only baby issue was that she wanted to crawl. Mommy did not want her to crawl. It was either muddy or snowing the entire time, and the camper floor was consequently wet and muddy! So smart Daddy spread out a great big tarp with a wool blanket on top, and we had a baby girl play area.

She loved it.

Jeremy cut wood at the speed of light...

Eli played with a grouse that Grandpa shot. (eeuw.)

(no, he didn't take the mask off. Ever. )

Iris auditioned for "The Blair Baby Project"

I got very, very dirty...

To-Do List

Each week, I make a to-do list on our whiteboard. Since we were planning to be gone all of last week, we had only one agenda item.

Saturday night, I came home and put a big fat "check!"

Here is a picture of my elk that Eli drew...

Happy November!
