Grapes!

I wish they shared toys half as well as they share food...

They didn't even count them, Mom!

First Strawberry

Eli "accidentally" picked an almost ready strawberry out of our berry patch...

He says it was very yummy.

Bathrobe for Iris

Here is Iris' bathrobe.

It makes her so happy.

I held up the pattern piece to her shoulder to see how long I needed to make it, and she realized I was making something for her... she sat there and tugged on everything on my sewing table, she was so excited! I had to leave my craft room and shut the door, and hurry and make it while napped later.

Bathrobe for E

Eli is in swimming lessons this week and last...

I saw this pattern at MADE, and had to make it for the kiddies!

He picked the towel (boooring stripes) and the trim color.

(I made all that bias tape by hand, because I am HARDCORE!)

He loves it.

Sister wants one, too.

(I'm making hers today)

she looks like Yoda...

Iris' Favorite Book

This is currently Iris' favorite book.

Sometimes she reads it to herself.

she looks at this page without comment...

but when she gets here, she points to the big smelly pig and says, "Mama! Mama!"

Repeat for cow....

So flattering!

Slip n' Slide

Auntie Jan gave Eli a slip n' slide for his birthday. Until recently, it has been too cold/windy/rainy to use it. After a couple of days with temps above 80, we decided it was time to test it out.

My plan was to get E and his buddies going and then put
Iris down for a nap.

She had other plans...

Blossoms (Not Boogers)

I appear to have offended my momma with my "boogers" post. She never did like boogers. Boogers, boogers, boogers!

*ahem*

It's spring! Finally! In June!

things be blossoming

apples

cherries

strawberries

RHUBARB!

Irises (almost as pretty as my Iris)

And crabapples.

LOVE these trees.

They are so full of bees, when you stand under them you can't hear yourself think for all the buzzing!
